The Nakuru National Show was held from 12th to 16th July 2023 at the Nakuru Showground. Kenya Industrial Estates (KIE) actively participated in the event, showcasing its services and support for SMEs. The event provided a valuable platform for KIE to enhance its brand visibility and connect with MSMEs and industry stakeholders. KIE’s participation in the event was captured in photos and press appearances, highlighting its active presence and engagement at the show.
KIE’s participation in the Nakuru National Show aimed to enhance brand visibility, engage with MSMEs, and contribute to discussions on the growth and development of the MSME sector. Throughout the event, KIE actively participated in various activities, including panel discussions, networking sessions, and showcasing its services and support for SMEs. The expected outcomes of KIE’s participation included increased brand recognition, valuable connections with MSMEs and industry stakeholders, and the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of the MSME sector in Kenya.
KIE’s participation in the Nakuru National Show was recognized through media coverage. On the 16th July 2023, KIE appeared in The Sunday Standard on page 33, and on the 18th July 2023, they were featured in The Star Newspaper on page 3. Additionally, KIE received accolades for its outstanding performance at the show. They were awarded the following trophies: “The Best Microfinance Institution Stand,” “The Most Striking Display (Demonstration of Locally Manufactured Products),” “The Best Small Trade Stands (Commercial & Industrial),” and “The Best Financial Institution Other Than a Bank.” On the 14th of July 2023, the trophies were presented to the Managing Director, Dr. Parmain, and the Chair of the Board of Directors, Hon. Lilly Ngok, by the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Rigathi Gachagua.
Through its active involvement in the Nakuru National Show, KIE successfully increased its brand awareness, engaged with its target audience, and contributed to the growth and development of the MSME sector in Kenya.
