Kenya Industrial Estates (KIE) has scooped four awards at the Nairobi International Trade Fair affirming the institution’s strong presence and effective presentation of its mandate, programmes and services.
The awards were presented during the official opening ceremony at Jamhuri Park, presided over by Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development alongside Dr. Paul Kipronoh Ronoh, Principal Secretary State Department for Agriculture.
KIE received the following awards:
🥇 1st Position: Best Financial Institution Stand Other Than a Bank (Agricultural)
🥈 2nd Position: Stand That Best Interprets the Current Show Theme Non-Agro-Based
🥉 3rd Position: Best Small Trade Stand (Commercial and Industrial)
🥉 3rd Position: Best Micro-Financial Institution Stand
Madam Yere Nyencho, KIE Board Member, received the trophies on behalf of the Managing Director, Mr. Nelson M. Kwamini and she was accompanied by Rev. Peter Rotich, Manager Operations and Acting Marketing & Public Relations and Mr. Michael Njane, Manager Business Advisory Services.
Through its exhibition stand, KIE is showcasing its work in enterprise development and industrialisation while providing participating entrepreneurs with an opportunity to display their products, connect with potential markets and engage with members of the public.
The Nairobi International Trade Fair runs until 4th October 2026 at Jamhuri Park, bringing together government institutions, businesses, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders.
