Empowering Growth: KIE’s Role in the 24th EAC MSME Trade Fair and Its Benefits for Local Enterprises

Kenya Industrial Estates (KIE) recently participated in the official launch of the National Organising Committee (NOC) for the 24th East African Community Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (EAC MSME) Trade Fair. This significant event was held on October 7, 2024, and officiated by the Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSME Development, FCPA Hon. Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya EGH, alongside Principal Secretary Ms. Susan Mang’eni. The trade fair is scheduled to take place from October 26 to November 5, 2024, in Juba, South Sudan, and aims to provide a platform for MSMEs to showcase their products and services while fostering regional trade and collaboration.

For KIE and its participating clients, this trade fair presents numerous benefits. It offers a unique opportunity for local businesses to access new markets and expand their customer base in a growing economy like South Sudan’s, which is currently experiencing significant reconstruction efforts. Additionally, the event will facilitate networking among entrepreneurs, promote innovation, and enhance skills development. By participating in this trade fair, KIE clients can establish valuable connections that may lead to future collaborations and business growth while contributing to the overall economic development of the East African region.
