On 13th June 2025, Kenya Industrial Estates was honoured to participate in the 2nd Public-Private MSME Dialogue – MSME Connect, hosted at Embu University.
The forum brought together MSMEs, private-sector partners, and policy stakeholders to explore solutions for enterprise growth and competitiveness.
As a Development Finance Institution, KIE’s core mandate is to promote and facilitate industrial development across Kenya—especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises—by providing affordable credit, incubation facilities, business advisory services, and market linkages.
During this dialogue, that mandate came to life:

– Shared insights on accessible financing of up to KSh 20 million,
– And connected entrepreneurs with strategic partners to help them formalize, scale, and compete sustainably.
KIE clients from Embu and neighbouring counties proudly showcased their innovations, demonstrating how targeted financing, training, and mentorship can turn great ideas into thriving enterprises.
